The Nechako Watershed Roundtable invites you to participate in a Climate Change Adaptation and Resilience in the Nechako Watershed workshop, themed “From Streams to Strategy: Pathways to Collective Action”. The workshop will be held on April 28th at the House of Ancestors in Prince George, BC.
On March 11, 2026, the Nechako Watershed Roundtable’s (NWR) Youth Engagement Committee (YEC) hosted a Watershed Connections event at the House of Ancestors in Prince George. Watershed Connections is an NWR initiative designed to foster youth leadership, collaboration, and action in watershed stewardship.
For years, local watershed groups and community organizations like ours have been doing the hard work to protect and improve the health of the Nechako Watershed for future generations, often with limited and uncertain funding. That’s stable, long-term funding for the kind of work we all do...
Join us October 14th for our online Annual Meeting entitled, "Roots of Resilience: Forests and Water for a Sustainable Future" where we will take a closer look at the forest landscape planning, projects and shared governance in the watershed.
The Nechako Watershed Roundtable, in partnership with Nak'azdli Whut'en will be holding their Spring Technical Meeting entitled, "Action in the Nechako: Progress and Potential Across the Watershed" on June 2nd and 3rd in Fort St. James.
